NOMON’s First Nutraceutical Product
Launched since May 16th, 2019

Teijin Group's healthcare enterprise NOMON, Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo) has, since May 16th, 2019, released its first nutraceutical *1 product containing made-in-Japan nicotinamide mononucleotide (NMN) on NOMON's e-commerce site.

NMN, short for nicotinamide mononucleotide, is a precursor of a naturally occurring coenzyme within the body that reduces with age. Maintaining the level of intracellular NMN is believed to contribute to better general health and well-being. NMN is present in all humans as well as dietary sources such as breast milk, broccoli, avocado, edamame, and other vegetables in minute quantities.

NOMON's NMN product is 100% domestically produced and has passed Teijin's quality control standards, backed up by many years of experience within the healthcare industry. High quality is also guaranteed by ensuring the traceability (who, where, and when it was produced) for NMN from the raw materials procurement stage all the way to manufacturing and sales. In addition, all processes that go into manufacturing NMN from the raw material to the final product are conducted and controlled in Japan. Our NMN raw materials processing has acquired ISO9001 certification *2, while our formulation process has acquired cGMP certification *3, a standard that is stricter than domestic GMP.
