Established “Productive Aging Consortium” Beyond Industry Boundaries –
Collaboration of Companies and Organizations
Enlightening "productive aging" from a broader perspective
"Productive Aging Consortium" was established aiming for the realization of productive aging, with NOMON as the founder, in collaboration with multiple domestic companies. Press conference was held on November 20, 2019, to announce the establishment of the organization and explain background and future development of the organization.
In Japan, the world's first super-aging society, there is an urgent need to solve the problems brought by the aging society and extend healthy life expectancy. Founded in such a social background, NOMON aims for "productive aging" through nutraceuticals, in other words, enabling all people to accept aging positively and to live fulfilling lives of their own from birth through their final days. The Productive Aging Consortium founded by NOMON therefore strives for early realization of "productive aging" through collaboration of companies and organisations that sympathize with philosophy of the productive aging, beyond industry and sector boundaries.
On November 20, 2019, at the press conference announcing the establishment of the consortium, many people from various fields including media, medical professionals, beauty professionals, lifestyle businesses gathered, that clearly indicated high expectation to the project realizing "Productive Aging".

Four companies participating in the "Productive Aging Consortium" : Meiji Holdings Co., Ltd., Shimadzu Corporation, Teijin Limited, and Oriental Yeast Co., Ltd. The leading companies in food and healthcare-related industries will work in collaboration and utilize their abundant knowledge and experience in order to transmit continuously the latest information about "productive aging".
