NOMON held a collaborative event with Isetan Shinjuku to promote productive aging. This is a report of the event that turned out to be a special occasion to get to know mechanism of aging and NOMON’s philosophy.
A special event was held over a two-day period to showcase NOMON, who has just concluded a new supplier contract with Isetan Shinjuku.

On the day of the event, special venues were set up for the products introduction, demonstration of brain age experience using a PGV’s EEG measurement device, and for talk session by Dr. Yoshiki Ishikawa, a preventive medicine specialist. In addition, inviting Mr. Keisuke Matsushima, a French chef based in Nice, was invited for a talk event with Dr. Ishikawa.
Dr. Ishikawa and Mr. Matsushima have been collaborating in various ways, including developing new recipes utilizing artificial intelligence. The two who pursue innovation in the medical and food area are creators, cynosure in media today. The theme they chose for this event was “fullness.” Their talk included simple episodes, such as the difference in sensing taste between Paris and Nice, what influence is brought to our brain by action of biting and mastication, and chef Matsushima’s impressions of international cuisine that makes him feel “fullness.”
This event showcased NOMON’s knowledge view of healthy aging from the perspective of food and well-being. Events that invite guests who share the same philosophy will be held in the future on a non-regular basis.
